MEET THE FOUNDER
Ryan brings a rich, fourth-generation legacy in the lighting and electrical industry to his work as founder of Mountaintop Solutions. A Colorado native and graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a degree in marketing, Ryan began his career in 2007 with a distributor sales development program, gaining hands-on experience across all facets of electrical distribution and early exposure to the emergence of LED technology.
He went on to join his family’s manufacturer representative agency, where he served as Vice President and played a key role in building a successful lighting division. During this time, he also founded a horticultural consulting firm, supporting the design, contract manufacturing, and implementation of advanced lighting systems for a leading manufacturer.
Ryan later returned to the distribution side of the business, working within the ESCO space and focusing on high-performance, energy-efficient lighting and controls. Today, he leverages that experience to support electrical contractors, lighting contractors, and ESCOs through Mountaintop Solutions by providing reliable, forward-thinking lighting, controls, and EV charging solutions.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys exploring the Colorado outdoors, long e-bike rides, and traveling with his wife, Andrea, and their three children, Grayson, Dahlia, and Rowan. The family also includes Saba, an East Siberian Laika rescued from Ukraine.
